To the Macek Family: " I did not know her personally but as a teacher she made a large impact on my nephews' education, he loved her because she was kind and patient. Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. Mrs Macek will be greatly missed." The Poellnitz Family of Lincoln Rd

Dear Macek Family: In 1961 Mrs. Macek was our 1st grade teacher. I have always remembered her for the kindness, love and guidance she shared with us. Nobody really ever got in trouble for throwing the paste on the way too high for her to reach. And, yes, my sister and I [twins] actually won one of the prized, hatched ducklings. I still remember walking home with that little guy in the shoe box. Please know, your Mom, Wife and Relative was a very special person in my family's heart & life...

Dear Macek Family, How fondly we remember Mrs. Macek. She taught our children in Wm. Penn and then a grandchild in Forbes. Such a sweet caring teacher. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Mr. & Mrs. Steven Kavulic Bonita Springs Fl.

Dear Macek Family,
I had the privilege of working with Kay for just 2 years at Forbes. I was transferred there after my building(Shenandoah) was closed in 2008.
She was a remarkable teacher and person. She truly had the gift to make all around her feel welcome and special whether a student or newly transferred teacher(such as myself). I will miss her dearly-we shared a daily laugh as we passed each other in the hall, shared a lunch period together or an occasional after- work...

Dear Ken and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Kay and I were good friends in high school and I always enjoyed her. She will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,
Joanie Campbell (Sr. Bernadette)
