PONTIER , Catherine Louise On November 25, 2012, Catherine Louise Pontier (nee K raus) ; beloved wife of the late Chester E. Pontier; devoted mother of Karen Cashman and Merle Kougl; dear sister of the late Marie Kruger and Lee Kraus; loving grandmother of Wendy and Stacey Cashman, Vicki Boileau and her husband Dan and Nicole and Megan Kougl. Also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
We invite all to join us in a Celebration of Life dinner on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Bellissimo 510 Market Place Drive, Bel Air, MD 21014 3-8 PM. There will not be a viewing. We are honored to have a service officiated by Transitional Catalyst Ellen Potter at 7 PM. We ask for an email or facebook response of who will be attending so that we can give a count to the restaurant by Wednesday. Donations may be made in Catherine's name to the Dacota Broad Creek Assisted Living 4411 Flintville Rd. Whiteford, MD 21160 or the Shriner's Children's Hospital Burn Care 3229 Burnet Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45229. No flowers please. Online

My deepest sympathies and condolences to your family at this time. Catherine was a wonderful woman and I am honored to have met her and have shared holidays and her 90th birthday with her and her family. I know she will be truly missed.

Karen, Mele, Vicki, Wendy, Stacey and everyone who shares in the loss of Catherine Pontier:

While we celebrate your mom's/grandmother's life with you; we too, share in the sadness you feel from her loss.

Our prayer is, that God wraps His loving arms around you and gives you the strength and love you need to heal your broken hearts.

Just think about all the wonderful times you've shared over the years and hopefully it will make things a little easier. I never had the chance to meet Ms. Catherine, but if she was anything like the rest of you ladies, then she was a wonderful person.

Merle, I do send my condolences to you and the Girls. But more importantly I want to share in the joy and happiness of your Mother's life. And the happiness she now feels to know that you and your family acknowedged her importance by being there for her even when she may not have know it.Causes she surely knows it now.In life we come to know of many things, but Cherished Memories are all that's lefted. And I know you and the girls have many. I know you will miss her, but know she is smiling at you right now, the True Loving Daughter that you are.

Mrs Catherine although i never got a chance to meet you i feel like i know you.I have heard so many good things about you.You have the sweetest smile of anyone i have seen. I adore your daughter Merle and her great smile as well.Although we don't know each other i just wanted to thank you for the wonderful caring loving daughter you raised.She has brought so much happiness into my family's life.God bless you and your smiley face those in Heaven re in for a treat.
