Not sure what to say?

I love her just as much today as when she was with us. She was an example to us all, an example well worth following, but few of us will achieve. We are blessed to have known her.

I think of her often and have her picture by my side. Some pray for people but I pray to her. She is my angel.

I´m missing getting emails from Cathy practically every day with interesting news from around the world! Russ Sharp

Cathy's friendship and kindness has been appreciated so much. She was very special. Cathy
will always be remembered as an amazingly warm and caring person.

Cathy You'll Be missed.. A person like Cathy Aldana will never be replaced. I had the pleasure of her being my friend for nearly 30 years. Mike from Wisconsin..

Cathy and I were both newcomers to Palatine High School in 1971 and graduated in 1973. I was a very shy, introverted girl, but Cathy helped me to come out of my shell with her kindness and humor. Not only was she friendly and fun, but she was also so intelligent and motivated. We lost touch over the years but I never forgot her. Reading here how she touched so many lives does not surprise me. My sympathy to all of Cathy's friends and family. May she rest in peace.

Before having had the pleasure of meeting Cathy for the first of two times, on November 20, 2018, for lunch with Cathy and Ed Burkhardt at a restaurant near their office in Rosemont, Illinois, I had to speak with Cathy a number of times regarding Ed’s purchase of General Motors locomotives for the his railroad in Great Britain, the English, Welsh and Scottish Railway. In every case, Cathy was extremely helpful, as well as so pleasant to speak with!

I had the pleasure of meeting Cathy twice. On November 20, 2018 I had an enjoyable lunch with Cathy and Ed Burkhardt near their office in Rosemont, Illinois. On June 8, 2019, Cathy and Keith White, the owner of the private varnish rail car “Hollywood Beach” and I rode in the “Hollywood Beach” from Chicago Union Station to Carbondale, Illinois and return (coupled to the rear of an Amtrak passenger train). Cathy really enjoyed that trip, and that’s how I want to remember her! I’m certain, like...
