Saddened to hear of the world's loss but Heaven's gain. I went to LBHS with Cathy and even in the halls between classes she stood out in the crowd as it seemed she found joy in every minute and could be heard singing under her breath or laughing or making someone else laugh. She was everybody's friend, that gal. Sending prayers to all family and friends...remember it is not goodbye it is "until we meet again"

Cathy has always been, and will always be, a bright spot in my memory; to think of her is to remember warmth and laughter—lots of laughter. In high school we once did several scenes from the Wizard of Oz; I was the Scarecrow and Cathy was the Cowardly Lion. At one point, when we first go to see the Wizard, the Lion is so nervous he pulls his own tail and yelps, "Somebody pulled my tail!" to which I respond, "Oh, you did it yourself."
