Not sure what to say?

Cathy was a wonderful friend and a brave soul. She gave support and encouragement to everyone at LCSC, the lung survivors board. I will miss her greatly.

Cathy was such a courageous woman! Peace to you, Cathy, and to all your friends and family.

I just found this site. We first met Cathy & Richard when we were in our first homes in 1984. It was "friendship at first sight" and we had them to dinner that night. Over the years we watched Ann and Adrea grow up, and went through many life events. We lost touch for awhile, but reconnected before Richard's death. My regret now is that we didn't see her before the end - I just didn't think God would take her so quickly. Lance and I send our love and most sincere sympathy to all of her family...

I am so sad to read that Cathy is no longer here with us. I know she is in a better place and smiling down at all of us. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet Cathy and her mom last year. Her personality always brought a smile to my face. Cathy loved everyone and they always came first. I will miss talking to her and reading her posts on the LC website.

Rest in peace with our Lord,

My Dear and Wonderful Friend, Cathy will be MISSED GREATLY! She fought with great courage and dignity in her battle with LC, right to the end. Cathy my Sweet Friend, I will miss you very much.

Peace to Cathy's memory, strength and comfort to Cathy's wonderful family.

Warm and Gentle Hugs,
Connie B.

Cathy was a treasure, and we miss her very much at the online Lung Cancer Support Community. Cathy had many virtual friends who had never even met her in person, and our thoughts and prayers are with her other family and friends at this difficult time. She was a kind and vibrant woman who is greatly missed.

Heaven has received a beautiful gift in the name of Cathy Rudy. She has given so much of herself to help others heal.

When you look up in the sky and you find that brightest shining star you name it Cathy Rudy as she will shine on in so many lives that she has touched throughout eternity.

What a beautiful reunion that must have been when Cathy was met by her husband.

Shine on, pretty lady

Cathy was a shining star who has taken her place in the heavens above... she was a gift to all of us who were fortunate to know her through the lung cancer support web-site. Her words of hope and inspiration lifted me through many difficult times. May God Bless and keep her.

I'm so saddened. Cathy was a bright light, a beautiful soul and a great friend to us here at LCSC. We will miss her.
