I just found this site. We first met Cathy & Richard when we were in our first homes in 1984. It was "friendship at first sight" and we had them to dinner that night. Over the years we watched Ann and Adrea grow up, and went through many life events. We lost touch for awhile, but reconnected before Richard's death. My regret now is that we didn't see her before the end - I just didn't think God would take her so quickly. Lance and I send our love and most sincere sympathy to all of her family and friends. Ann and Adrea - if you ever need us, just give a call.

I am so sad to read that Cathy is no longer here with us. I know she is in a better place and smiling down at all of us. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet Cathy and her mom last year. Her personality always brought a smile to my face. Cathy loved everyone and they always came first. I will miss talking to her and reading her posts on the LC website.

Rest in peace with our Lord,

Cathy was a treasure, and we miss her very much at the online Lung Cancer Support Community. Cathy had many virtual friends who had never even met her in person, and our thoughts and prayers are with her other family and friends at this difficult time. She was a kind and vibrant woman who is greatly missed.
