Cecil Adolph Parker

Pastor Cecil the greeter. Always had a kind word for people and a hug. Never at a loss for welcoming new people to New life Center. He is home with God now probably greeting others with his hugs. He will and is missed.

Dad and I once played golf with Cecil. He was a very kind and loving person who was a joy to be around for 18 holes.

What s great man you are! In my hard days, I could always count on being greeted with a smile on Sunday's. You helped me stay focused on the prize, Jesus Christ , during my dark days. You told me never give up. Thank you for sharing with me your tough times in life . It helped me to know I too could get through them. Your are an inspiration to many and you are not forgotten. I know you are the happiest man right now. Enjoy our King!

Rest in peace Cecil. Pray comfort & peace to the family.

May our Lord comfort you Liz, and all the Parker family and the extended families.
I often remember all those life-stories that Cecil told. They still bring joy to my spirit.

my heart was very sad to hear the news of Pastor Cecil's death....yet rejoicing for I know he is home with the Lord (which actually makes me quite jealous)....Pastor Cecil will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart (1) back in 1995 he & one or more of his sons gave of their time & blood donation to my granny (Flossie Pack) when she was facing open heart surgery...she was so worried about bad blood...they gave and said she "was now part of the Parker family".... and (2) when my son Robert...
