Not sure what to say?

Condolence to the family.

My thoughts and prayer to all of Ced's loved ones.

Although I only knew Ced for a few short years,it was immediately apparent that his gentle spirit, warm heart and kind smile brought joy to those around him. He and Sharon complemented each other from the start and truly enjoyed each and every moment that they shared. He will be greatly missed by all. God Bless.

Home of Hope, Vinita, Ok., Cedric Fortune was our class mate and will be deeply missed. Ced was an outstanding student, atlete & leader. We all share fond memories of him, and we send our heartfelt sympathy. Please accept this memorial from The Class of 1958, Garden City High School, Darlene Gibson, Secretary

I remember Cedric (we still called him Cedric back when) as the All American Boy. In high school he did it all - and he did it right. When I visited with him at class reunions, there he was, the same smiling, caring Cedric. My heart and prayers go out to all family members and his friends.

Judy, Dr. Fortune was our first doctor when arriving in Olathe in the early 70's. Have good memories of a good person that he was.
You and your family have our sympathy. Sorry of yet another loss of family. One of your P.E.O. sisters of Olathe, Ginny Swank and Art Swank....Isa. 41:10 read daily....

We send our prayers & love to Ced's family. He loved them all. We have a bit of special love to his wife, Sharon, for making Ced's life with her the happiest period of his life. Ced, we'll all miss you. God be with you.

What a Great Guy! I will greatly miss our bi-weekly lunch dates and our times together in AZ with Ced and Sharon. RIP brother. John Stewart

I met Cedric in the fifth grade when my family moved to Garden City. We were in 5th and 6th grades together at Hutchison Grade School, and through Junior High. We lived only a few blocks apart. He was a very smart and a very friendly guy. We shared grade school memories a few years ago over a cup of coffee when I was doing consulting work in his neighborhood. He will be missed.
