Although I only knew Ced for a few short years,it was immediately apparent that his gentle spirit, warm heart and kind smile brought joy to those around him. He and Sharon complemented each other from the start and truly enjoyed each and every moment that they shared. He will be greatly missed by all. God Bless.

I remember Cedric (we still called him Cedric back when) as the All American Boy. In high school he did it all - and he did it right. When I visited with him at class reunions, there he was, the same smiling, caring Cedric. My heart and prayers go out to all family members and his friends.

Judy, Dr. Fortune was our first doctor when arriving in Olathe in the early 70's. Have good memories of a good person that he was.

I met Cedric in the fifth grade when my family moved to Garden City. We were in 5th and 6th grades together at Hutchison Grade School, and through Junior High. We lived only a few blocks apart. He was a very smart and a very friendly guy. We shared grade school memories a few years ago over a cup of coffee when I was doing consulting work in his neighborhood. He will be missed.

It was my pleasure to know Ced from kindergarten through our high school graduation in 1958. He was one of the standout students because he was so smart, a good athlete, class officer over the years and other accomplishments. But mostly because of his quiet manner, ethics, and the example he set for all of us. He will be deeply missed. We all send our expressions of deepest sympathy to you. It was our blessing to have known him.

I was a couple of years of Ced in the KSU Beta house. I remember him well. He was a truly nice person, whom I enjoyed being around.

As a friend and high school classmate, I am saddened; being family, I know you are heart broken. May you gain strength by remembering the happy times. God bless!
