Not sure what to say?

My father was business partner and mom was great friend. Condolences to all. Peace be with you.

What a profound loss of one of the south's most beloved and influential women. I spent time with Lessie and Thurmond on my visits to Gainesville over the past few years. Lessie was one of the most gracious and classy women I've ever met. She also had a great sense of humor. I treasure the brief times I spent with her. What a lasting legacy. May Lessie rest in peace.

Dear Charlie, I just read about your mother's passing and wanted to add my thoughts and sympathy with the many you will receive. She had a remarkable life and her generosity and caring will live on forever. Always, Barbara Rose

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

It was our honor and privilege to know Lessie Smithgall, through her son and our friend Thurmond. She was a remarkable lady, sharp until the last, witty and charming and lots of fun. And what a positive impact she had with her life and gifts. Memories of her will be a blessing for those lucky enough to have known her.

Please accept my deepest and heartfelt sympathy. I'm so sorry for your loss. may the God who binds up the broken-hearted comforts all who mourn and sustain your family during this challenging time. (Isaiah 61:1,2)
