Can´t believe it´s been almost 2 years without you here. Not a day goes by that we don´t mention your name. Tia Celita, my sister Melanie´s Godmother. Weren´t we all so lucky to have had a wise one in our midst? How hard it is to let her go. Two strong intertwined memories are etched in my mind and heart: Tia Celita´s admonition to not come home with wet shoes! (The Frog Pond!) And the smell of her homemade bread coming out of the oven. But no worries when we did come home with soaking wet shoes, she understood that our young legs sometimes couldn´t jump the whole distance across the Frog...
