Not sure what to say?

I may not be very good with words, but I know a great guy when I meet him. Chad, I only wish I could have had the pleasure of getting to know you a little better. But either way, I love you like a member of my family, and I'll miss you very much.

Today, Sat. June 12, I read through the thoughts you have shared in this guestbook. I do appreciate your love for Chad. Sincerely, His Mom, Kay Calhoun

Chad was such great guy! He was a best friend to my boyfriend and was dating one my best friends, so I heard a lot about him.. all the time. But I knew him personally too. He always looked positively at everything. I never saw him when he wasn't smiling. He would bend over backwards to help anyone. I only had the opportunity of hanging out with him a couple of times, but we always had fun and there were plenty of laughs and stories shared. I'm so sorry about everything that has happened. I'll...

Chad-
We all miss you so much! I am just glad that I had the chance to see you on Saturday and talk to you. You were so happy and cheerful as always (with a huge smile on your face). I know you are in good hands now and watching over us all. I miss you Chad, You were always the sweetest, most impressive man I knew. I love you!

Kim Romig relayed the information about Chad to me on Tuesday. Tyler played baseball and basketball with Chad, Curt Romig and others. We remember great times watching the kids play and being with the families. Our prayers are with you. Praise God that we will all be together one day for more "outings" together.

Chad,
We love you dearly ---and know that you returned that love unconditionally. We were the fortunate ones because we had the opportunity to give you a hug and say good-by and tell you that we loved you just four days before your death. Little did we know that it would be for the very last time, but we thank God for giving us that chance. You were a very special young man and thank you for sharing the last few years of your life with us.
I will miss your E- mails and the...

Andrea was the first person I met when I moved to Illinois. I got to know her and her family quite well and I was so grief-stricken to hear about Chad's untimely death. He loved his sister so much, and after her death I know his heart had to have been greatly strengthened in the Lord. I am just so glad I got to see him the few times that I did at SIUE and around OFBC for the short while that he was there. I'm comforted in knowing that he will be in Heaven next to his sister and brother. One...

I think I'm still in shock that he's gone. Chad was just an overall good person. He always made me feel better when I talked to him. I wasn't really close to him but I will always remember Kairos with him our senior year. He came up and thanked me b/c he was in my group and thanked me for helping him see a different side of him. Chad, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers and I will miss you deeply.

Kay and Larry, Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We are so sorry for your loss. Please keep in touch. Morris and Leona
