Not sure what to say?

I was sad to learn of Charlie's passing. He was the Principal that I worked for at Cony High School as a Biology and Earth Science Teacher in the late 60's and early 70's. He was a fair and generous man and a good Principal. He will be missed.

Thanks to and many fond memories of the man who took over the reins from Horace Croxford, saw my class of 1966 through double sessions, the death of a President, and successfully brought us to a new High School Facility. In those years, he helped develop a State Champion Basketball team and a 75th Chizzle Wizzle that ended the Black face minstrel in Augusta.
He is one heck of a man among men.

Mr. Arbor was my principal at Cony High School. He was very caring and considerate to the students and his office was always open to any student who may have just needed "down time". He will be missed by all who knew him.

When I heard about Charlie's passing it took me back to the fall of 1968. I was a young chemistry teacher at Cony High School. Charlie was my principal - a great principal, and a kind and encouraging man with a charming smile. This world is a colder place without Charlie's presence.

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.I REMEMBER CHARLIE AS MY TEACHER AT HALLOWELL.
HE WAS THE BEST.

Mr. Charlie Arbour better known as "Charlie" was to me one of the finest person I ever knew. My coach at old Hallowell High and also a fine teacher as I remember. His wife also was one of the best. Thank you coach for all you did and the wonderful memories. Lindy Black
