I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. It's comforting to know that God cares for all of us and losing a loved one is something we cannot get use to. I served in the legislature with Charles and remember him fondly as a friend as well as an excellent servant of the people of the mountains. My sympathy for your loss.

I remember Mr. Beall quite well from the days when he was a frequent guest at the lodging establishment where I worked in Raleigh. This was, of course, during his time in the legislature. He was always a warm and gracious gentlemen and we thought a great deal of him. My condolences on your loss.
