In Remembrance
(09/2019)

Oh Pat I am sooo sorry to read about Chucks's passing. Just learned of it today, 9/14. You and your family are in my thoughts! It was nice getting together with you and Chuck and Dan King during my visits back to Rockford. Take care!!

Pat and Family,

Sorry to hear about Coach. Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family. He was a great person and a great coach. Of all the basketball coaches I had growing up Coach Behrends was definitely the best. He taught me and many others how to work hard and love
the game. RIP Coach

Dear Pat, Dave, Randy & Chad,
Speaking to your husband and father about RVC athletics and basketball was such a pleasure. His willingness to talk to new coaches and employees deepened our appreciation for the breakthroughs and growing pains experienced in the early years.
His impact is deeply appreciated!

In remembrance of a good man, husband, father, and coach.
Deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Pat and Family:

Coach Behrends was a wondeful mentor, coach, and friend. He has had a lasting impact on my life since the days in Sycamore, IL. The many times we played golf together every day before the start of school made us very close.

I have thought about him often and referred to life's tips and suggestions during my career in sports and business.

He was a great man and the people that he has touched will miss him.

God Bless you family.

Randy...

I am so sorry about to here about Chuck he was a great teacher. He taught me to appreciate math.

Coach Behrends' family,

I offer sincere condolences to all of you. Rock Valley College has lost one its most notable personalities. I admired the intensity with which he coached his teams and his friendship he carried after his players left. I will never forget the game between Malcolm X College and Rock Valley College in 1969. The outcome determined the winner which would advance to the state finals. Rock Valley won something like 89-87. I'll never forget that team-Larry Sidney,...
