Not sure what to say?

It was my pleasure to know Hilmon, as we called him as a leader on the world of Physician Assistant Education in the early - mid1970's. He served two terms as President of APAP (PAEA). I enjoyed seeing him at meetings and at Utah. We played tennis. He was instrumental in the collaborative teaching of medical and PA students. He was a true gentlemen and we were all privileged to have known him. Sending love to family, friends and colleagues. Alfred Sadler MD

Hilmon Castle MD was a long time friend and colleague of mine dating back to the early 1970's when we both became active in PA Education and in the Association of Physician Assistant Programs, of which he was the fourth President. I admired his commitment to patients, students and clinical excellence at the University of Utah.

He will be missed by family, friends and colleagues.

Alfred M. Sadler Jr. MD

Sorry to hear of your loss. He was such a force of life.

Off campus office e manager for a few years.

Sorry to hear of Dr. Castle's passing. I was his office nurse for many years, and so admired the way he treated his patients, his infinite knowledge, and his willingness to teach me and so many others. In my 50+ years career as a nurse, he will always be one of the physicians I respected the most, and am honored to have been his nurse. Please accept my condolences and best wishes.

As a member of Hilmon's memoir writing group for a long, productive time, I was happy to see his book completed and published. We enjoyed a lot of serious reflection together. He was a model of commitment and a stimulating companion. I cherish the time our group worked together.

Sorry to hear of the lost of Mr. Castle. The Bible tells us Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. One of the principal ways to draw close to God is thorough prayer. Do not underestimate its value!

Very sorry to hear of Hilmon's passing. He was a giant among his medical peers in medical education and health care delivery systems. He was a wonderful colleague and friend. Dom Albo
