I am your father's friend from my days in Bethany Beach. We shared many things in common among them our alma mater Va Tech. He was a year ahead of me there; we didn't know each other then but we do share mutual friends.We no longer have a place in Bethany but Charlie and I stayed in touch.I was in West Virginia when I heard of his death,getting the message on the day of the service. My sister, Lindsay, just called and told me of your father's passing. Please accept my condolences; I am truly sorry. Yet I am glad I saw Cousin Charlie last year at your grandmother's memorial service in Remington and had a chance to meet you both again as adults. Before that I had only remembered you as children.
