Dear Folks,
I am your father's friend from my days in Bethany Beach. We shared many things in common among them our alma mater Va Tech. He was a year ahead of me there; we didn't know each other then but we do share mutual friends. We no longer have a place in Bethany but Charlie and I stayed in touch.I was in West Virginia when I heard of his death, getting the message on the day of the service. Please accept my sympathy. He spoke of his daughters often and at this stage you were his life.

Carole And Suzanne,

My sister, Lindsay, just called and told me of your father's passing. Please accept my condolences; I am truly sorry. Yet I am glad I saw Cousin Charlie last year at your grandmother's memorial service in Remington and had a chance to meet you both again as adults. Before that I had only remembered you as children. The Chiltons have had a few rough years ... please know that you, Charlie, Marcia, Aunt Connie, and Uncle George all remain in my fondest memories, and I will add a few more special prayers now. God bless,

Bill Grant
