Charles Henry Clark

The Clark Family was a wonderful family to have as our next door neighbors for eleven years from about 1948 to 1959.

Charles Henry was a blessing for my family as he came to help us in times of need. My Dad had a work schedule that was unpredictable and he was often unable to be at home to do the chores of living on a farm. Charles Henry was always willing to lend a "helping hand." I especially remember him going out in the winter weather to milk our cows.

My family and I have many fond memories of Charles. We lived right next door "out in the country." We knew him as "Charles" or as my Mom called him "Charles Henry".

He was a tremendous neighbor to grow up next too. Some of the things I recall: riding the school bus together, bailing hay with he and his dad "Judge", hauling "leftovers" from the school cafeterias in garbage pails to feed his pigs when he was in FFA, his milking our cows when my Dad was working overtime, riding on the...
