Not sure what to say?

Charlie was a good friend and one of God's special people. He will always be remembered for what he did for others.

Dear cousins,
While I haven't seen you since the summer of 1970, I was able to keep in touch with your dad over the years. Sharing the same name, Charlie, we most often referred to each other as "C2" and "C3" (C1 being Grandpa Crowley and C4 being my son...yet another Charles Edward). Your dad always made an effort to keep in touch with his brother's side of the family as one would expect from such a "people person." My first camera was a joyous Christmas gift from Uncle Charles and...

Dear Tracy and Tara:
Arleen and I apologize as we thought our entry was made when your father passed away. We became close friends of Pat & your father and believe we were among the first to know of Pat's illness. They were both mentors in life as well as P.I.A. Your father placed a great deal of confidence in me while President and I worked very hard to never disappoint him. A great man, friend to all, and as strong willed as anyone to brighten our lives these many years. He now...

While never close, I knew Charlie for many years through the National PIA. He was was always a mentor to so many. I will always remember his "entrance" to his National PIA Induction in Hawaii.

rip mr. crowley you were an amazing man we loved you so much

So sorry to hear that 'Uncle' Charles has passed away. We have never met, but I talked to your father years ago. I am Mary K. Crowley and am married to Charles E. Crowley III, Uncle Charles nephew, son of Arthur and Dorothy Schmuhl Crowley. Our son is Charles E. Crowley IV. If you would like to get in touch with your cousin Charlie, please email us at [email protected] Again, so sorry for your loss. Mary C.

Dear Tracy and Tara,
I just learned of your Dad's passing and want you to know that he was very kind to me (and Jay) for many years. We spent lovely weekends as a family in VT and remember many laughs with Charlie. He was always quick to lend a book and to discuss interesting things in great depth. We remember him fondly.

I was fortunate as a young insurance professional to have benefited from Charlie's wisdom, guidance and abundant knowledge of our complex industry. His pleasant demeanor and great work ethic stand as examples to everyone in our business.

To The Crowley Family: Charlie was one of the best mentors a person could have. He show me the way in the PIA National for all the years I was involved. I could always call him to get his ideas and thought on things that we were dealing with inside the association. He made those memories that I have with PIA a laugh, a cry , and a joy. He will be missed.
