Not sure what to say?

Uncle Charles,
You were always an inspiration, a spark of hope, unconditional love, laughter at the most amazing times and the teacher of spirit. You always have been and always will be a part of who I am. I will always be grateful for that.
I'll be seeing you...;)
Vicki Smith Bhardwaj

So many memories, so many laughs. We all have our special look-back thoughts of this great man who touched our lives. Many of us still laugh about Christmas and the 'Dr. Cecil B DeDart' tee shirts. Rest in peace dear friend. You are missed.

To Dr Dart's family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father and grandfather. As an employee of old St. John's, I knew Dr. Dart in the 1970's and, again, in the 1980's as an employee of his medical office. While countless memorable events come to mind from those times, many years later, what is, truly, most unforgettable is the manner in which Dr. Dart exemplified quiet compassion as a gracious, thoughtful man, in addition to his being a groundbreaking cardiovascular surgeon....

The world has lost a great person and great surgeon. I worked at St. John's Hospital for many years on the Telemetry Floor, and enjoyed his frequent visits. I will always remember in the early a.m., we all would have a cup of coffee, and he would bring in his soda!!! God rest his soul...Sue Zacher R.N.

I knew Dr. Dart in the early 1970s.No doubt about it,a great heart surgeon,at the same time he was a good guy.He looked after his parents.Rest Doctor.

Condolences to Dr. Dart's family. I was a Coronary Care nurse who worked with Dr. Dart for many years, he was a skilled surgeon and always a pleasure to work with.

Dear Rob, Amy and Hank, my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your beloved dad. He was always so friendly and gracious to all of us when we gathered at your home. His legacy in the medical community of Ventura County was second to none.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Dart. I went to work for him in 1989. I was a single Mom of 3 and had never worked in a Dr.'s office before. I started out filling but soon became the surgery scheduler. I knew nothing but with the help of all 3 of the Dr.'s I went on to do it for almost 20 years and made life long friends. I thought the world of him. He was kind, patient and had a great sense of humor. I remember sitting at my desk one day and hearing strange noises, we didn't...

Dr. Dart was an incredible surgeon & amazing person. I remember all the lives he saved with his gifted hands.
My thoughts & prayers are with the family during this sad time.
