Charles Day Obituary
He was preceded in death by Kathleen and Dub Reese, Mary Agnes and Carl (Pete) Day, Linda Reece Barger, Diane Reece Wilson, Elton Reece and Billy Gene Day.
Survivors include his sisters, Cathy Reece McAteer and Patsy Day Thomas; brothers, J.C. Day, Danny Day and Larry Reece; and a host of nieces and nephews.
David was a hard worker. He never met a stranger. Everyone that came in contact with him was happy to know him. David loved his family and his country. He served our nation in the Army during the Vietnam War stationed in Korea.
Pallbearers will be Richard Morrison, Derek Day, Nic Blasingame, J.R. Blasingame, Jeff Lawrence and Charlie Beck.
Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Elam, Sansing Country Home staff and residents, Larry Thomas, Leon and Margie Swanger, Fay Glenny and Pat and Gail.

I am deeply sadden, I loved David like he was my dad. All of my childhood memories were filled with David. He was such a big part of my family so glad I got to spend Christmas with him this past year and spent New Years visiting with him. He will truley be missed. Until we meet again David...Love you to the moon and back.

Such a sweet man. My grandson and I enjoyed visiting with him every week when we went to see my mom. Very saddened to hear of his sudden and unexpected passing. He was so kind to my mom, we will miss him very much.
