Not sure what to say?

I realize this may be odd but I´m compelled to write something. I´ve just now - almost 15 years later - learned of Charlie´s passing. Clearly we weren´t close but I am very sad to learn about this. Charlie was about 4 or 5 years older than me growing up. As kids, it´s a big difference, and he probably wouldn´t have remembered me as adults. However, to me, he was an idol. He was good-looking, charming, kind, smart, a great athlete, and best of all...real. He was friends with my good friend´s...

Dearest Katy,
We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved Charlie. Our hearts and prayers are with you, your three little guys and family. Years have passed since we have seen you, but I still fondly remember meeting Charlie and enjoying an evening dinner with both of you.
Love,
Andrea and Whitney Dawson

Katie, I was in Eugene during Charles' service broadcasting the Oregon/USC game but was thinking about you and yours, and all the people in our office all Saturday. I wish you nothing but the best and God's grace on you and your family. Rob Closs

To the Disbrow family, My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

Dearest Katy, Charles, Teddy and Francis, I am profoundly and forever changed for being welcomed into your family...as your nanny and as a friend. I will always remember Charlie's gregarious personality and playfulness with the boys. Hugs were always a part of the scenario. Charlie, you will be...

Dear Katy:
May you be consoled and comforted by knowing that our prayers are with you throughout these difficult days.

Love,
Lil and Roger Begin

Dear Katy, I'm so sorry to hear about Charlie's passing. Our hearts go out to you, and the boys, and the many friends and family that loved him so dearly. It has been so long since I've seen you, but I miss you and think of you very often. Now, more than ever, you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Patti and Charles,
May it somehow give you peace
of mind to know that many thoughts and prayers are going out to you, Aunt Millie and Junior.
