Read MoreI, too, reread Ben's entries and think of Ben often with great fondness and admiration. He was one of the few that kept in touch from the USMC days. We had wonderful times together before he was old enough to legally buy a beer.

I was re-reading some of Ben's emails today. He was quite a patriot and a tremendous family man. Most of his letters were about his family or his country -- he was passionate about both. Rest in peace, Ben.

Ben Doten was my brother-in-law,one of my husband's best friends and partner in 'mining projects',Uncle to my daughter and he always managed to attend his Marine 'Tank' conventions. My sister always had interesting stories to tell after going to these get togethers. Ben is "laid to rest" at Binghamton LDS Cemetary,which is located in Tucson,AZ...
