Not sure what to say?

My sincere Love and condolences go out to the Daud family. Chuck I first met 1979 as a maverick in the Rancheros Visitadores. As said before Chuck had a handshake of a man with a purpose. He was extremely involved in that particular organization and loved it as his son Tom does. He leaves more than just a legacy behind him,He was bigger than life and a hero to many. Godspeed Chuck It was an honor to have known you.I’ll see you across the river___

The Doud’s home welcomed everyone- Charlie’s booming voice made you feel so comfortable- a gentle giant with the brightest smile! Thank you for such good memories.

I had the pleasure of knowing Charlie for over 50 years. We met in the early 70’s at the La Canada toastmasters. He was an amazing man of wit and integrity. He was devoted to his friends and family and his love of horses. He was one of a kind and will be missed but not forgotten. Tom Higgins

What a nice man— and as everybody has posted he was a gentle giant. I always enjoyed my conversations with him— it was my privilege to coach his sons at Loyola High and never felt anything but support and backing during those many years. What a great family— my prayers and thoughts are with you.

Steve Grady(former loyola football coach)

I was privileged to spend a short year with Charlie at the AF Academy.
We enjoyed a bit of the nectar of the Gods at Fitzsimmons club and
a few other places.
God Bless you and all.

Chuck was a warm, friendly man with a handshake for the ages. I had the pleasure of working with Chuck and his son Tom Doud in downtown LA. Chuck and Tom invited me to the Saddle & Sirloin Club for an early morning trail ride -i'll never forget it. Best horse I ever rode. He was optimistic, funny, and was a believer in me, when confidence in others was scarce. "Slip Madigan" he shouted, and we laughed. Rest in peace Chuck. All the best to the Doud Family, James Madigan

It's going to take 10 men, maybe 20 to fill up the void left in this man's passing. Being Reilly's high school friend meant that I was welcomed into the Doud's loving chaotic home often. With a massive hug and a "what's one more ? " attitude, "Mr. Doud" was a mountain (literally! ) of love and kindness and inclusivity. The world seems a little off kilter with him gone. May he rest in peace. It doesn't get any better than Charlie Doud. Love to Anne and the whole Doud clan. xoxo Melanie

I first met Chuck at Rancheros. Over the years, we had occasion to arm wrestle. . . it didn't last very long! He was a fine man and he will be missed.
