Charles "Charlie" Edward Druke, 79, of Weare, N.H. passed away on Thursday, January 12 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H.

Charlie was born August 26, 1937 in Newfane, Vermont. He graduated from St. Michael's College in Burlington, VT and flew fighters for the "Green Mountain Boys" in the Vermont Air National Guard. His greatest loves were flying, family and freedom.

He settled in NH in 1969 and participated locally in Boy Scouts, Civil Air Patrol (cadet, and senior squadrons; International Air Cadet Exchange program) and the Henniker Flying Club. He retired, as a pilot, from the military (US Air Force, Air Force Reserves and Air National Guard) and American Airlines.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, Josef and Gertrude Druke. He was the youngest of 13 siblings. Charles is survived by five children, Erica Druke of Concord, Monica Small of Hampden, ME, Charles Druke, Jr. of Concord, Jennifer Rabalais of Bow, and Nancy Druke of Canterbury, five grandchildren, and two great grand children.

Visiting hours will be held at Waters Funeral Home 50 South Main St. Concord, NH on Wednesday, January 18 from 6-8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ The King Parish/St. John's 72 South Main St. Concord, NH on Thursday, January 19 at 10:00am.

Burial will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at 11:30 am with full military honors. Fly overs welcome.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the charity of one's choice.
