As kids Chuck and I spent a lot of time together. My memories are of Chuck the fearless adventurer. He would do things that I (not nearly so bold) would not even think of. Like the time when Lenox Square was being built. It had an underground complex of truck tunnels and delivery bays for all of the big stores. One Saturday afternoon Chuck took me in there (he had already explored much of the space) to show me around. It was pitch dark since the mall was still under construction. All we had...

I loved listening to Chuck play ragtime on the piano....awesome musician!

A girl couldn't have had a better brother and sister-in-law! Chuck was a musician who loved to play the piano and guitar. One year he came to my High School, North Fulton High School, and he played guitar and together we sang "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles. It was a hit! Later he told me that song had some of the most difficult chord changes at the bridge and he was scared he would mess it up. He also was a member of the Civil Air Patrol Georgia Wing.
