Not sure what to say?

I never played for Coach Espanet and never attended MHS. I went to St. Mary HS and played for a other great coach, Albert "Chick" Sayles. From across the field I witnessed the respect the MHS team had for their coach and the respect he gave to his players. I lived in Medway and played in the Babe Ruth league. Coach Espanet umpired some of those games. We would exchange greetings and have short conversations as I came up to bat. One of my favorite ways to get on base was to push...

It has been better than 60 years since I had Charlie as a high school coach. All this time he has been a light in my memory as well as in my heart.A great coach and a great person. He will be missed by all.

Mr Espanet was my guidance counselor and friend. One day while skipping school I got a phone call - Mr Espanet calling: "get to school! You have to get up pretty early in the morning to fool me!" A really great guy and the very last of the old breed of real man's men

Dear Regina and Family,
I was deeply saddened to read of Charlie's passing. He was a very loveable educator and inspired his students to always try to achieve their best. As a long-time family friend of my parents, it was a pleasure to always meet and talk with you and Charlie.
May God grant you and your family the comfort to get through this difficult time.
Much love, thoughts and prayers.

Dear Espanet Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.Fondly, The Macklows.

Your compassion and advice have remained with me since I left MHS in "77". Thank you Mr. Espanet!
