Charlie was a person in our community. I enjoyed the times he interviewed me for different events like the popcorn festival art show. I hope some commemorative of his deeds will be added to the Evers Arena. My condolences to all of his family

I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing; although I am sure his Homecoming was a blessed event. It was a joy for me to work with Charlie on WGH Radio. My late husband, Paul Savage, was in awe of Charlie and counted him a friend. My prayers are with you. He was a dear man.
