Chuck shared kindness and happiness every time I saw him. He will be greatly miss by all that knew him and loved him.

Heaven must have needed someone to run trains, as we know Charles loves to run trains. We will definitely miss his smiling face, and great personality. He always made you feel welcome, and could cheer up a room. Thanks for all the great memories, I know we will see you again Fairwinds, and following seas shipmate. Chuck´s memory will live on through the impact he has had on those fortunate enough to have known him.

My heart hurts hearing the news of Chuck's passing. He was my boss/mentor/friend at Lincoln Financial for many years. He was a tremendous teacher. His quirky sayings still live in me 30+ years later. His Lincoln team still cracks up over the crazy times we had and the fun we had together. He was absolutely the most patient man.
