Dr. Fletcher took a chance on me by giving me a job as a dental receptionist/assistant more than 40 years ago. I am forever grateful for this because I learned not only about the dental field, but also life, integrity, boat building, and my faith. I became a fan of Dr. J. It saddens us, our family and friends, to hear of the passing of such a "Special Person", as Dr. Charles P. Fletcher. From those of us who knew and loved him, as friend, he was to us family, friend, confidant, role model, historian and a blessing in disguise. As he passes from our earth, he takes with him a fellowship unsurpassed, to many families and friends, to mourn him in his absence.
