I knew Charlie for years through gun shows and my work at Poulin's Auctions. Always a gentleman and first class act. I received one of my greatest compliments of my work from him when he stated that since I described the revolvers, he didn't need to see them in person as my description would be fine for him. I recently learned of his military past more of his life as we talked at Poulin's. He also gave me selling advice and told me how he advertised as "Charles" and "Charlie" so to know where inquiries were coming from; I just wanted to make sure that as I called him "Charlie" that he might not prefer "Charles". A pleasure to have known him.

Oh Sally,
I am devastated for your loss, and I do know how much of a loss it is. My thoughts and heart will be with you on Friday as you say your final goodbye to you dear, sweet love. OMG Sally ~ please know how sad & sorry I am for your incredible loss ~ Charlie, the love of your life with his bonny looks and affable disposition!!
While you were able to sing a lovely & fitting tribute at Herbie's memorial I unfortunately am tone deaf and cannot carry a note. However, for you it would be Robert Goulet singing "If Ever I Would Leave You" ~ for as Charlie would tell you "Oh, no, not in springtime, summer, winter, or fall ~ No never, could I leave you at all." You remain in his loving embrace!
W/Love & Sincere sympathy,

Charley you were one in a billion!
Our hearts and prayers go out you and your family at this very difficult time. Your loss is felt by anyone lucky to have known you. I will always be that little kid racing down Belmont St to get the corner so I could walk with you back home when I visited you and Sally....and that basketball hoop you had was my biggest joy!
Sally I can't even imagine what you are feeling right now, but I hope all the happy memories of you and Charley help you through this difficult time. Charley, thank you for taking the time to ask "Kelly how are you?" because I alway knew you really meant it. Charley you were just a good guy and we are all heartbroken by your loss. The seemingly small gestures by you are rememberer even after what seems a lifetime by that little kid racing down the street,
Love to you Sally!
