Not sure what to say?

I knew Mr. Haury through his daughter Chris. He was an accomplished man, but more importantly, he was an inspirational and loving father to his daughter, Chris. She often spoke of his character and his teachings. There should be more fathers like Charlie Haury in the world. He was a truly good man with a great sense of humor. Chris and Mrs. Haury, I am truly sorry for your loss.

Chris and Jeanne,
Mr. Haury was a wonderful man and will be surely missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with both of you during this hard time. Hopefully the great memories you have of him will help ease the pain a little. I am here for you if you need me.

We have missed Charlie for a long time, he was always at EAA chapter meeting at Woodbine. He always kept us on track. I spent many hours talking to Charlie while he was building the Neuport. He was a source of much knoweledge both about building airplanes but of life. He is missed.

Jeanne and Chris, my heart is broken at this terrible loss. Mr. Haury was such a brilliant yet humble man. I so remember him working on his plane in his backyard. So many fond memories --his smile and laughter -- so often due to Jeanne's many witty remarks -- and his constant pride and confidence in Chris. How he adored both of you! Our thoughts are...

I worked with Charlie at SJG for years. If he was called in to help fix a problem, you knew you were in good hands.
I saw him a Sam's club a year or so ago, and he was as friendly as ever. I will miss him.
