Not sure what to say?

I was 7 when I met the Horne's in the mid 70's. My oldest sister Eleanor took business class from him & typing from Mrs Horne. This gracious man invited our multi-ethnic family to his farm. My daddy cut down tall trees on the land that Mr Horne was clearing. The wood was to be burned to keep our house warm during the winters. One of the best teachers I ever had. Thank you for caring Mr. Horne. God bless you.

So sorry to hear of Chuck passing on. He was always a great friend of the family and will be greatly missed. It didn't matter if we were fishing on the Bay or Nottoway, or just helping around the farm, he always made it an adventure.

So many good times at the farm over the years. I am so sorry for your loss--he will be missed.

Mr.Horne was an asset to the Colonial Heights School System as well as a fine teacher....may he RIP.

Jami, Our deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I was so sorry to read this. Thinking of you and the family. May God bless you at this difficult time.

This is a great photo of Uncle Richard. I loved the way his eyes twinkled when he was telling a story and the smirk he would have because he amused himself that we believed what he was saying. When he would then laugh out loud it was the best because he knew he fooled you...again! With love to the family.
