Not sure what to say?

Loved, loved, loved your dad! Like many he was also my sixth grade teacher at Piner and his presence was comforting and so encouraging. God bless him and may he rest in peace with his wife and family

I am so sorry. I had your father in 6th grade at Piner elementary. I will never forget him as I loved the outdoors also. He really helped me that year become happy and fulfilled. I had just moved and he took the time to make my transition welcome. God bless.

I´ll always remember the summer trip I took with Maureen and the rest of the family to Medicine Lake. It was a lot of fun riding around in the back of his gold- ish color 4 door pickup, half car sick all the time! I also remember him making me touch a snake, which I was deathly afraid to do but he encouraged me to and I did! That was the first and last time I ever touched a snake! He was a great teacher and a great man! It´s so sad to lose these great people. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Jones was a very kind man & my most beloved teacher at Piner Elementary. The way he taught was not by book & "desk" learning. He took you on journeys to the fields, we had a wild hawk in class once (among other visitors,) Camp Caz was a beautiful highlight of my 6th grade year. He read to us & the Highwayman by Alfred Noyes was a favorite. He never raised his voice. He was gentle. He loved his students. I am 65 now & I have never forgotten this man. He truly affected my life in very...

Mr. Jones was my 3rd grade teacher at Olivet Elementary. He was one of my most favorite teachers ever. I appreciated his love of the outdoors and all the cool things in his "science" cabinet: wasp nests, feathers, little skeletons, and such. Walks through the big field in the back of the school were so special. I loved and admired Mr. Jones' thoughtfulness, humor & kindness. May God bless him & his family.

Sheila, Maureen and Sean, such great memories with Your Dad and the rest of the softball Family. I´m thinking of you all. Love, Debbie

Mr. Jones was one of a kind. I didn´t have him for a teacher but I went K-6th 1970-1976 and so some of my friends had him. He sometimes had a taxidermy weasel in his shirt pocket, it´s name was Chuck, lol He was a good teacher who never lost his cool. My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to read this. It brought tears to my eyes. He was one of my two favorite teachers. I am so sorry for your whole families loss. May he rest in peace.
