Not sure what to say?

MR. CHARLES H. KAMAN and my father, Sgt. Earl Moffatt were good friends and my dad often gave Mr. Kaman advice on which pups from new litters with Fidelco would be best for the blind or police work. I often would visit the Kaman home in Simsbury with my dad on weekends for these reasons. My father became the first, training director for the Fidelco Foundation. Mr. Kaman let me "show" his prized german shepherd in a show ring, where I won a ribbon. I believe I was the only one to have...

My memories of Charles Kaman are wonderful ones, though a short period of time that I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know him. It was, and will remain a highlight in my life. I was online looking at historical houses in the United States, and thought about the pictures that Mr Kaman shared with me once of his beautiful home on Avon Mountain, in Ct. The pictures he stated, were taken by a flyby in one of his Kaman Helicopters, and the view and his home,(the back yard)was...

...a Legend, now, and forever missed by those who knew him, and worked for him.
I am Proud of working here for over 30 years, and even Prouder that "CHK" knew me by name. He was a man of class, and
distinction, who went out of his way to make sure that his "People" always had a paycheck at the end of the week.
God Bless You Charlie.

I worked At Kaman for 37 plus years. Charlie gave me the opportunity to work Aerospace,Airkaman.ovation,Power Transmission And Corp. This from a guy who grew up on the otherside of the tracks. I loved That Man.

Such a loss. They broke the mold...Sadly they no longer make them like Charlie.

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE LOSS OF A GREAT MAN.
I WORKED AT KAMAN FOR 7 YEARS, AND MY MOM, HELEN CURTISS WAS THERE FOR OVER 40 YEARS.
IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK. CHARLIE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL. THANK YOU MR. KAMAN FOR ALL YOU AND YOUR WIFE DID FOR OTHERS.

My husband, Llewellyn Schuler, worked with Charles for 39 years. It was an inspiring time. Charles will be missed by all who knew him.

My sincere condolences to the Kaman family. I grew up with Kaman as a household word as my father had started as part of the engineering staff in the original garage and worked with Kaman until he died in 1967. I met Charlie and Robbie later and was so impressed with their dedication to their dogs. They were most gracious. Charlie was always larger than life, but also a down to earth person.

While I only worked at Kaman for 4 1/2 years I did have the honor of meeting Charlie a few times, always a gentleman.
