Family-Placed Death Notice

LANGDON, Charles R. Mr. Charles R. Langdon, of Marietta, GA, died Saturday August 18, 2012 at Kennestone Hospital. He was 71. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday August 22, 2012 at First Baptist Church Woodstock with the Rev. Jim Law officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 P.M. at Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Langdon was born March 1, 1941 in Wyoming, Ohio to the late Richard William and Annette Hoff Langdon. He was a cherished husband, loving father, and a proud "PA." Besides his family he enjoyed people, being outside and sports. He was a respected businessman, and a loyal friend to all who knew him. He will also be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of practical jokes and his infectious smile. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Jenny Langdon, Marietta, GA., three daughters, Penny Flowers (James), Birmingham, AL., Mitzi Langdon, Marietta, GA., Tina Charman, Marietta, GA., a son, Chip Langdon (Megan), Greensboro, GA; grandchildren, Caleb Flowers and Andrew Flowers, Birmingham, AL., Wyatt Charman and Claire Charman, Marietta, GA., Collier Langdon and Payten Langdon, Greensboro, GA.
