Charlie has always held a special place in my heart. He had the greatest laugh and we had so very much fun in Battle Creek at Marywood and at Bailey Park back in the day. My heart goes out to you Sandy, Joyce, Cheryl and Jack as well as all your children. Thank you for all the wonderful memories, and may Charlie Rest In Peace.

A great man, father, and husband. You can judge a person, in large part, by how they treat and care about others. Charlie had heart of gold. Miss you---Jamie

Charlie was just the best. I met him at the RMTC and found he was our neighbor. He was right there when Jim was in the hospital in '97, volunteering to mow our yard. We will never forget the Mack's kindness and friendship during the worst time in our lives. God bless and love to you all.

I had great times with Charlie and his sister Cheryl in high school. We were together almost every day. Before school, after school, Bailey Park, riding around in the Town car rocking out to Mr. Roboto by Styx, the concerts and the countless parties. They were the best times of my high school life. There was a whole group of us at Pennfield that were together all the time and everyone liked Charlie. Although I hadn't seen him in years his passing is no less upsetting. He will be missed and thought of with a smile.

Terry and I am saddened by this. We thought he was well again. The best man in the world. Charlie was and is first class. My whole family is saddened by his loss, lots of tears. Bobby my brother is and was at a loss of words. Best man in the human kind. Charlie, you will be missed with your smile and wisdom. Terry and Amy Calhoun/AKA the whole Brown family......

Yes, for Charlie his eyes are wide open!

To the Mack family and Hanna family, our deepest sympathies to your families from ours. Charlie was fun to be around growing up in Pennfield, and contributed to many memories during our time together at PHS. I remember meeting him in Junior High, I think, for the first time, and was always wearing that Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers t shirt! And I always thought Charlie resembled him too, in many ways! So I was quite shocked to hear about Charlie's passing, and then today heard about Tom Petty's passing away. Just thought I would share that today. Prayers and thoughts for you all during this difficult time for your families.

Charlie has been coming to the Ford Ohio Assembly Plant Paint Shop as a project implementation engineer since the late nineties. I considered him more than a work colleague. He was a dear friend I will truly miss.

He was a very competent engineer and he got along great with our skilled trade people. They worked with him installing process improvement projects at our plant as well as teaching them how to troubleshoot our environmental abatement equipment & understand how it operated.

I was privileged to know Charlie and work with him. Rest in Peace.
