Not sure what to say?

I met Chuck through Mary Anne. I spoke to him on the phone several times before meeting him and, frankly, was intimidated by his powerful voice. I thought, is he friendly? Chuck and I were fraternity brothers in the '60s and remained in touch for the remainder of our lives. This is sad, sad news indeed.

Chuck was part of the Breakfast club every Sunday near DCFS. Chuck was an outstanding conversationalist and always had a good story to tell. We will miss him dearly and his memory will live on with all of us. My heartfelt condolences go out to Mary Anne and all of the Mannix family. Peace be with you all.

Dear MaryAnne, You and Chuck were first our neighbors then fantastic friends. Our travel experiences together have filled my memory with images to cherish. Bob and Chuck kept us busy. I send you love and prayers as you make your way through this time of grief. Even as you and Chuck comforted me so I hope you will find peace. With sincere condolences, Sue.

A lovely and loving tribute to a life well lived. Deep condolences and heartfelt thoughts to the whole family, and especially to you, Anne.

What an inspiring and multi talented person your dad was. Cherish your happy memories. Sincere condolences, Tara
