Uncle Jake was such a wonderful person to be around. I remember also the great picnics at Academy Road and the great laugh he had. My Dad, Joe Howard, always looked forward to visits with your family.

Uncle Jake was such an important part of our family. He was such a gentleman. Ill never forget all the fun we had at Uncle Jake and Aunt Rosie's house on Academy Avenue. I will fondly remember Mr.McDermott in his great care of his wife, love of his family, pride in his son and daughters, and his grandchildren. I was lucky enough to work with this loving man for many years and to know his family for so many. My prayers are with you all at this time.
