Charles Curtis Meade

Charles Curtis Meade, 41, of 20613 Manson Church Road, McKenney, VA departed his life on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Southside Regional Center. He was a native of Mckenney, born November 19, 1978, to Nancy Meade and Alexander Marks. At an early age, he confessed Christ and joined Big Bethel Baptist Church, McKenney, VA and attended Dinwiddie County Public Schools. He was a former employee at the Rest Area located in Dinwiddie County. Charles Meade will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish memories of him, a loving and devoted grandmother, Sue A. Marks of McKenney, his mother, Nancy Meade of Petersburg and his father, Alexander Marks (Barbara) of Tazwell, VA, a son, Damarrie' Stokes, and a daughter, Desiree Meade, a sister, Latasha Meade and three brothers, Alexzander and Anthony Meade, and Andre Hudson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends, among them, Shirley Marks, Kim Stokes, and Cleveland Tucker.

Funeral services for Charles Meade will be held 12 noon Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at the Mckenney Chapel-Joseph M. Johnson & Son Funeral Home 11107 Doyle Blvd, McKenney, VA, with Rev. Alexander Williams, officiating and Elder Leroy Farrah, eulogizing. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Charles Meade can be viewed on Monday, February 3, 2020, from 10 am to 8 pm at the funeral home in McKenney and in the chapel one hour prior to the service.
