I always looked forward to seeing Charles at All Pro Dads at Forts Pond Elementary. He was so kind and softspoken, a very special daddy I could tell especially by him being there for his children. He was so proud of them and their accomplishments. Although I did not know Charles on a personal level it's almost as if I did. I will never forget Charles and that genuine smile. Heartfelt sympathy and the deepest of prayers for his family and children.

I am truly thankful to have had the opportunity to know Charlie Mengedoht over these years as his sons' school administrator. Every morning I would greet Charlie dropping off his sons to school. It was clearly evident to me what a loving father he was to Cayden and Tanner. I will greatly miss that warm smile and those kind, gentle eyes that spoke volumes of the man he was. I will remain steadfast in praying for the family in these difficult days ahead. May God wrap you in his warm embrace and hold you close to His heart. - Mark E. McDermet
