I met Charlie in 2004 on a Jetway course in Houston,Texas.Coming from the England and a country boy to the city Charlie looked out for me and showed me great hospitality and humour. He was a gent 1st class and truly a Thousandth Man as described by Rudyard Kiplings poem.I prey for all his family in these sad days, God always does call his best back first, God bless you Charlie, Rest In Peace.

I was so saddened to hear the news about Charlie. What a true friend and hero he was to everyone that crossed paths with him. I knew Charlie when he was an officer at HHPD but lost touch several years ago. Charlie was a person who certainly left a footprint of kindness on your heart after you met him. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his loved ones. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Charlie, you will be sorely missed - the world needs more people like you. God bless you for dedicating your life to serving others - you will never be forgotten.

My heart goes out to Charlie's family and friends, he was a wonderful person. Keep his spirit alive in all you do.
