I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Pierce at Jtown High school for many years. Since we shared the same birthday, I would call him Brother and he would call me Sis. I will remember his smile, his laugh and his total devotion to teaching! He was a mentor and had such a passion for instructing all students! I was blessed enough to get to see him at the band concerts after his retirement....he not only loved going to concerts but supported them tremendously. Will be praying for the family in their loss but remember all the good he taught you, all that you laughed in and all the love that was shared.

Chuck, you were one of the best mentors I could have ever had. You were always available with sound advice, a shoulder to lean on, or a pal to share a laugh with. I have missed our times together during these past years since I have moved on from J-town to the next phase of my life. May you soar on angels' wings as you reach the heavens and touch the face of God. With love always.

Capi was such a beautiful, kind soul. He always had an interesting story to share. The legacy of love he and Janie have left you, Suzanne and Jason, I pray will live on in your hearts. My prayers for your peace are constant. I am honored to have known him.
