Much sympathy to Mary and Charles, Norman and Michelle, Walt and Kate and Spencer. From the Longo family - Lori, Frank and Alex Charley was an interesting guy. He told us some good life stories and could play a tune or two on the piano! My favorite tale was of his trip to Big Bend with Walter and Charles K ( which he printed out and bound in a notebook for me!) I think Mary inherited his talent for writing wonderful personal notes. One of my favorite memories of my grandpa...I remember one day (when I was around seven or eight years old) grandpa and I were out in the pasture at "the old place" in Keller and one of those mid-summer thunderstorms rolled in without much warning. The two of us were caught in the downpour that followed. We started running across the pasture through the rain and when we were about 40 yards from the house grandpa told me to run for a small (probably no more than 4´ x 4´)...
