I'm continuing to listen to Chuck's CDs and viewing his DVD. My way of keeping his memory alive. From a fellow WSU classmate and graduate. It's hard to accept that it's been 6 years since his passing. Eternal rest grant onto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

November 4, 2023 I will be forever grateful that I took his Music Appreciation class at UTA in 1990. I was a business major and decided to change majors to music (I play the flute) because of him. He had a fun personality & I enjoyed his class. I graduated in 1993 & he made sure to congratulate me on stage! My parents & I attended many of his guitar concerts and purchased his music. Although I am a complete stranger, I offer my belated condolences- Charles was so gracious with me via email and sent me signed copies of his books and dvds, all of which had a profound effect on me and my teaching. His beautiful performances on that dvd is just sublime. Very sad to come across his passing as I was trying to find and order more of his material. I just learned of Chuck's passing from a Wayne State University publication. I am so sad to learn of his passing. I had attended WSU at the same time Chuck attended there; we were in the same Music History classes and we both participated in the WSU Choral Union then under the direction of Malcolm Johns.
