I graduated from highschool (Dorchester High, 1953) with Charlie (this is what some of us called him back then). I was so sorry to hear of his death. I remember him being fun loving yet serious, a very good athlete, and a respectful person. Our class of 17 was small and we all knew each other and our families at that time. I just heard of Chuck's passing this last week and was sad to hear the news. Chuck and I were pals. He and I graduated the same year from Dorchester High, here in Nebraska. We played side by side on the football team and Chuck was a tough kid and a good football player.. A good deal of the time he would ride his bike to school.
