Charles was a good friend for many years. I just found out about his death and wanted to express my condolences to family and friends. He was a wonderful man who left a trail of positive memories.

There are so many things to say about "Chuck!" When I started working at Fisher Body as "The Black Woman" he took me under his wing, in a corporate culture of white or blue shirts and stripped ties. His shirts were always heavily starched "blinding" white. He said "I do not do wash and wear!" One day we were heavy into the "dozens" and I got "zinged!" My comeback was about his "barrel like chest!' He responded that "this is not chest. It's the home of a BIG HEART!" He was right - he...

Margaret, Wanakee, and relatives, Charles will be missed, but his impact on all will endure. We first met when we shared an office in the Labor Relations Department at Fisher Body when he joined General Motors. He and Inez were also neighbrs in Churchill Downs while sharing experiences of our children. In the last few years we shared many "coaching tips" for MSU coaches. When my late father retired from Fisher Body, Mr. Reynolds assisted my fragile father with the necessary paperwork. From what my parents recalled from this stressful and emotional experience, I learned that Mr. Reynolds was a very kind man.

Chuck, it was a pleasure to have been able to know you and work very close with you during our time at General Motors. You will be surely be missed.
