My Uncle Charlie will always and forever hold a special place in my heart. I remember him with my mom and how he would always say Judy Judy Judy, to her and you knew what was commin next. Charlie touched the hearts and souls of so many people and he will live on thru all of us and his friends, co-workers and his other family. I love you Uncle Charlie and miss you so very much.

Charlie, Thanks for my first pizza, for being a helpful fellow tutor in Wesleyan's Upward Bound Program, for accompanying me to RDU to welcome my dad from South America for graduation, for being such a gracious and kind neighbor in Edgecombe dorm, and for all your other acts of kindness and compassion that were always a natural fabric of yours. I am a better man for having met you, Charlie. You will forever occupy a spot in my heart. Farewell, good friend.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Charlie's passing.
I knew Charlie throught the Theater Dept at NC Weslyan. Recently, I found some old pictures of us during "The Tale of the Golden Goose" he was the King and I was his Queen"Magnifi-Kate".
What wonderful memories...dancing, laughing, rolling eyes. He made a positive difference in so many lives and though we had lost touch, he'll always be in a special corner of my heart.

Words cannot express my sorrow & heartfelt loss at the news of Charlie's passing. I knew him whilst we were at NC Wesleyan together. Charlie was an all-around great guy and an integral part of the campus theater scene. I only knew him casually as we moved in different circles but he was member of the NCWC community and that was good enough for me to call him a friend. It was always good to run into him at alumni functions. Those who knew him bot at and after Wesleyan will be grateful for...

I met Charlie through the BMA, like many of his acquaintances. Charlie was a rare person to come across in our times. His friendly character and honest sincerity was electric, and I was tickled many times at the Ghandi-like approach he took to life (and BMA events). Karen and I would like to express our condolences to the family. Charlie was truly sent on too early, far too early. We will raise a glass of fine wine and proclaim a toast to Charlie very soon.

Charlie was a very special friend of mine and I will miss him tremendously.
I have so many wonderful memories that I will treasure forever; from all our great dinners out, all the fantastic trips we took, volunteering at the Special Olympics, The Boeing Classic, and all the fun times we had at the Husky Games. I also had the pleasure of being his partner for the past few years attending the Broadway Plays at the 5th Avenue. Oh how he loved the plays and he had the best seats in the...

Jeff & I were very sorry to learn of Charlie's passing. We had seen him several times over this past month of illness. We will cherish our memories of spending our vacation with him at the OBX; it was a treat to visit his favorite places that we'd heard so much about. He was such a devoted member of the BMA, and I feel lucky to have known him through that affiliation. We enjoyed his stories of his "Big Chill" weekends, his love of the Huskies and all things North Carolina, and extend our...

I remember Charles from high school. We graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High in 1970. He was always nice to me. So sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to all his family.
