I just found out about Chuck's passing. I am so sorry. We played many rounds of golf together with some "friendly" wagers to spice things up. I still think about the day we were playing at the Country Club of Ala. and we both shot 72 and tied! probably the last time I shot or will ever shoot 72 again. RIP Chuck.

I would like to pass along a story about Chuck.A few years ago I was on vacation in Nassau Bahamas and bumped into Chuck at the hotel.We spent some time talking about old golf stories in Columbus,GA. For whatever reasons Chuck and I decided to visit an orphanage in Nassau called The Ranfurly Home for Children. Chuck made a generous donation of his time. It was a very thoughtful and kind act on his behalf. I will always remember that day when I think about Chuck Rutland and I wanted to pass this story along to his family and friends.Thank You.
